Literature Text

I am fighting a mystery,
An inexperienced child waiting for an expression.

I still remember those words that came out of your mouth.
They stung, they ripped apart and they shattered.
But I am fighting this life, wrapped by branches made of lies.

And there are words choking my wrists,
Blood is flowing out of my pencil,
And pain can be seen in between my sentences.

Do you know what you are saying?
What is the meaning behind your perspective?

I am fighting a mystery, consumed by a power,
You are wrestling with your words,
I am gambling with my ambitions.

Sentences in black and white,
Paragraphs stained grey,
And stories sparkling red.

I recall those words that came out of your mouth -
"I'll remember that".
They were devastatingly beautiful,
Creating scars on my forehead and slashes on my cheek.
Blood by words, now I see.

I am fighting a mystery, wrapped by bloody branches.
I am fighting life, consumed by words full of lies.
