We are such irrelevant specks
in this gigantic, fascinating universe.
And when I think about it,
these anxieties are meaningless,
a waste of thought.
These worries are just
little figments of overthinking and
these fears will be
overlapped eventually.
Regret is just being unable to move on
and my pondering is
too often non-conclusive.
The star-speckled sky
looks down at me,
shining its beauty for me to ponder
and I wonder
if it was made just for us.
For our enjoyment,
for our amazement.
Because all we are is
irrelevant creatures
obsessed with ourselves.
We don't notice the sky for its beauty.
We are all, too often,
consumed by reality.
And as much as
I don't admit it,
I am so thankful
to be alive
under this
star-speckled sky.

Star
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
how we marvel where you are.
A distant speck in edge of view,
That is all we see of you.
From your perspective what are we,
dearest star blinking brightly?
To us our Earth is blue and green,
but what’s its color in your sheen?
Yellow with joy or red with rage,
black with darkness, gray with age?
Or is there simply too much space
in between to judge our race?
Sparkling, spotlight little star,
we wish upon on you from afar.
You symbolize a distant dream;
one day we may move towards your gleam.
Can you see us where we are
brilliant, beaming, little star?
Astral body far away,
have you a world for us to sta

You're a Clump of Stars~ A Poem
You're a clump of stars,
And I'm forced to hang out with you,
Burning my hands into your skin,
Watching them turn from brown to blue
You're a clump of stars,
And I'm forced to admire your smile,
Letting it suffocate and tear me apart,
Even if it's just for a little while
You're a container of nebulas,
And I'm forced to carry you around,
I want to scream and let you go,
But my throat won't make a single sound
You're a teaspoon of stardust,
And I'm forced to be by your side,
I didn't have the guts to tell you that I loved you,
And now all that I'm feeling is something I hide
You're a bathtub of falling stars,
And my heart is what

So I really needed to write something simple, but thought-inspiring.
The only thing I really have left to say is look up once in a while ♥ xx

Really like this piece for all that it asks us to ponder that we take for granted every single day!
